Why does the internet make it seem like everyone is single, lonely, or over love—yet in real life, the streets are full of couples? In this episode of Broken Traditions, I’m joined by  @nnekaonyilofor   CEO of Curated Legacy, to challenge the cultural narrative that Black love is dead and relationships don’t exist anymore.

We dive into the growing disconnect between online echo chambers and real-world realities—backed by relationship and marriage data from the general population and Black Americans. The numbers show that most people over 30 are in relationships or married… unless you're looking specifically at the Black community, where the stats are nearly flipped.

So what’s really going on? Is this a cultural issue, a media-driven narrative, or something deeper? And why are we more comfortable promoting isolation than partnership?
